Asian MEG rises last week due to upstream price gain

Asian MEG prices rose in the last week ended Feb 27, due to gain in upstream product prices in the region.

In SE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 25/ton or 3.07 per cent and were quoted at US$ 840/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In India too, average prices ascended by US$ 25/ton and were assessed at US$ 840/ton last week, up 3.07 per cent from its previous week.

In China also, average prices propelled by US$ 15/ton and were spotted at US$ 825/ton last week, an increase of 1.85 per cent as against its previous week.
