Strong sentiments help Asian ethylene climb last week

Strong market sentiments led to Asian ethylene prices climbing in the last week ending Feb 27.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 30/ton or 3.31 per cent and were quoted at US$ 935/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 30/ton and were assessed at US$ 925/ton last week, an increase of 3.35 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices expanded by US$ 30/ton and were offered at US$ 980/ton last week, up 3.16 per cent as against its previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices propelled by US$ 25/ton or 2.63 per cent from its previous and were spotted at US$ 975/ton last week.

In India also, average prices mounted by US$ 30/ton and were quoted at US$ 980/ton last week, as compared to its previous week, a rise of 3.16 per cent.
