Asian benzene dips last week from upstream price fall

Benzene prices dipped in Asia in the last week ended March 13 from fall in upstream product prices and lower upstream energy prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices fell by US$ 5/ton or 0.65 per cent and were quoted at US$ 760/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices also dipped by US$ 5/ton and were offered at US$ 765/ton last week, down 0.65 per cent as against its previous week.

In India too, average prices went down by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 770/ton last week, a decrease of 0.65 percent from its previous week.
