Asian ethylene climbs last week from strong sentiments

Asian ethylene prices climbed in the last week ended March 20 from strong market sentiments.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 25/ton or 2.37 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1080/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan too, average prices rose by US$ 35/ton and were assessed at US$ 1070/ton last week, up 3.38 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices grew higher by US$ 50/ton and were offered at US$ 1200/ton last week, an increase of 4.35 per cent as against its previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices ascended by US$ 25/ton or 2.27 per cent from its previous week and were assessed at US$ 1125/ton last week.

In India, average prices too expanded by US$ 60/ton and were quoted at US$ 1210/ton last week, up 5.22 per cent compared to its previous week.
