Asian ethylene up in few but stays steady in other markets

Ethylene prices were up in parts of Asia on Thursday (April 9) due to constrained product availability in the region, while they stayed steady in other markets.

In SE Asia, prices were witnessed at US$ 1385/ton on Thursday, higher by US$ 10/ton as compared prices on Wednesday (April 8).

In NE Asia, prices were seen at US$ 1320/ton on April 9, up by US$ 5/ton as against prices on April 8.

However, prices were steady in Korea and Japan at US$ 1235/ton and US$ 1230/ton, respectively.
