Benzene prices showed upward trend this week in Europe from higher upstream energy prices coupled with higher feedstock prices and downstream prices in the region.

Prices showed an upsurge by US$ 70/ton on Thursday and were assessed at US$ 925/ton. However, prices went down around Wednesday levels to US$ 860/ton on Friday.
