Asian propylene rises last week from favourable market

Propylene prices rose in Asia in the last week ended April 17 from favourable market fundamentals.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton or 0.99 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1020/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices increased by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 1015/ton in the last week, up 1.00 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices ascended by US$ 10/ton and were offered at US$ 1040/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.97 per cent as against its previous week.

In India, average prices grew by US$ 10/ton or 0.97 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1040/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices mounted by US$ 10/ton and were quoted at US$ 1080/ton in the last week, up 0.93 per cent as compared to its previous week.
