Asian ethylene climbs from strong sentiments last week

Asian ethylene prices climbed in the last week ended April 17 due to strong market sentiments.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 70/ton or 5.56 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1330/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 70/ton and were assessed at US$ 1325/ton in the last week, up 5.58 per cent as against its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices expanded by US$ 50/ton and were offered at US$ 1430/ton in the last week, an increase of 3.62 per cent from its previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices rose by US$ 90/ton or 6.87 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1400/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices mounted by US$ 15/ton and were quoted at US$ 1395/ton in the last week, up 1.09 per cent as compared to its previous week.
