Led by upstream gains Asian benzene expands last week

Benzene prices expanded in Asia in the last week ended April 17 led by gains in upstream product prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices mounted by US$ 50/ton or 6.25 per cent and were quoted at US$ 850/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices climbed by US$ 50/ton and were assessed at US$ 855/ton in the last week, up 6.21 per cent from its previous week.

In India, average prices ascended by US$ 50/ton and were spotted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, an increase of 6.17 percent as against its previous week.
