Ample availability drives down Asian propylene last week

Ample of product availability in the region drove down propylene prices in Asia in the last week ended May 1.

In Korea, average prices fell by US$ 5/ton or 0.49 per cent and were assessed at US$ 1010/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices slipped by US$ 5/ton and were quoted at US$ 1020/ton in the last week, down 0.49 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices dropped by US$ 15/ton and were offered at US$ 1025/ton in the last week, a decrease of 1.44 per cent as against its previous week.

In India, average prices descended by US$ 15/ton or 1.44 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1025/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices dipped by US$ 15/ton and were assessed at US$ 1050/ton in the last week, down 1.41 per cent as compared to its previous week.
