Mute buying pulls down Asian ethylene prices last week

Mute buying sentiments pulled down ethylene prices in Asia in the last week ending May 8.

In Korea, average prices reduced by US$ 5/ton or 0.36 per cent and were assessed at 1385/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices slipped by US$ 5/ton and were quoted at US$ 1380/ton in the last week, down 0.36 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices dropped by US$ 60/ton and were offered at US$ 1415/ton in the last week, a decrease of 4.07 per cent as against its previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices descended by US$ 55/ton or 3.79 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1395/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices went down by US$ 60/ton and were assessed at US$ 1415/ton in the last week, down 4.07 per cent as compared to its previous week.
