Asian MEG drops last week from weak upstream prices

MEG prices dropped down in Asia in the last week ended May 22 from weak upstream energy prices in the region.

In SE Asia, average prices went down by US$ 40/ton or 3.98 per cent and were assessed at US$ 965/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In India, average prices declined by US$ 40/ton and were quoted at US$ 965/ton in the last week, down 3.98 per cent from its previous week.

In China, average prices dipped by US$ 40/ton and were offered at US$ 960/ton in the last week, a decrease of 4.00 per cent as against its previous week.
