PTA prices rose in Asia on Monday (June 1) from higher upstream product prices and increase in prices of other polyester feedstock.

In SE Asia, prices were witnessed at US$ 720/ton, up by US$ 5/ton as against prices at end of previous week.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 730/ton, also higher by US$ 5/ton from prices seen towards end of last week.
In China, prices were quoted at US$ 700/ton, also up by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.
