Asian ethylene climbs from tight availability last week

Ethylene prices climbed up in Asia in the last week ended June 12 from tight product availability in the region.

In Korea, average prices rose by US$ 10/ton or 0.72 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1395/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 1390/ton in the last week, up 0.72 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices expanded by US$ 5/ton and were spotted at US$ 1415/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.35 percent as against its previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 5/ton or 0.36 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 1410/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices mounted by US$ 5/ton and were witnessed at US$ 1415/ton in the last week, up 0.35 per cent as compared to its previous week.
