Benzene prices declined in Asia on Monday (June 29) from lower upstream energy prices, feedstock prices and sluggish downstream demand in the region.

In Japan, prices were spotted at US$ 800/ton, down by US$ 45/ton or 5.33 per cent as against prices towards end of previous week.
In India, prices were offered at US$ 805/ton, also lower by US$ 45/ton or 5.29 per cent from prices at end of the last week.
