Benzene prices declined in Asia on Wednesday (July 8) from lower upstream energy prices, downstream product prices, feedstock prices and sluggish demand in the region.

In Japan, prices were assessed at US$ 730/ton on July 8, down by US$ 10/ton or 1.35 per cent as against prices on July 7.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 735/ton, also lower by US$ 10/ton or 1.34 per cent from prices on Tuesday.
