Asian benzene climbs last week from buying interest lift

Benzene prices climbed in Asia in the last week ended July 17 from lift in buying interest in the region.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 15/ton or 1.97 per cent and were quoted at US$ 775/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices rose by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 770/ton in the last week, up 0.65 per cent as against its previous week.

In India, average prices grew by US$ 10/ton and were spotted at US$ 780/ton in the last week, an increase of 1.30 per cent from its previous week.
