Asian propylene dips from weak downstream last week

Propylene prices dipped in Asia in the last week ended July 24 from weak downstream product prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices descended by US$ 15/ton or 1.78 per cent and were assessed at US$ 830/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices dropped by US$ 25/ton and were quoted at US$ 825/ton in the last week, down 2.94 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices declined by US$ 20/ton and were offered at US$ 835/ton in the last week, a decrease of 2.34 per cent as against its previous week.

In India, average prices decreased by US$ 20/ton or 2.34 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 835/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices went down by US$ 20/ton and were assessed at US$ 880/ton in the last week, down 2.22 per cent as compared to its previous week.
