Asian ethylene declines last week from mute sentiments

Ethylene prices declined in Asia in the last week ended July 31 from mute buying sentiments in the region.

In Korea, average prices decreased by US$ 30/ton or 2.60 per cent and were assessed at US$ 1125/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices dropped by US$ 30/ton and were quoted at US$ 1115/ton in the last week, down 2.62 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices descended by US$ 25/ton and were offered at US$ 1065/ton in the last week, a decrease of 2.29 per cent as against its previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices dipped by US$ 25/ton or 2.14 per cent from its earlier week and were spotted at US$ 1145/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices were down by US$ 25/ton or 2.29 per cent and were assessed at US$ 1065/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
