Propylene prices in Asia improve past week

Propylene prices in Asia edged up in the previous week owing to strong upstream energy values in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices increased by US$ 5/ton while settling at US$ 1135/ton in the earlier week as against US$ 1130/ton in the last week, a rise of 0.44 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices in the past week were registered at US$ 1130/ton, up by 0.44 per cent from the preceding week at US$ 1125/ton.
 
In China, average prices inched up by US$ 5/ton and were valued at US$ 1170/ton in the prior week in comparison to US$ 1165/ton in the week before, a climb of 0.43 per cent.
 
In India, average prices jumped by US$ 10/ton to a total of US$ 1070/ton in the most recent week, a growth of 0.94 per cent from US$ 1060 in the former week.
