Propylene prices inch higher in Asia last week

Propylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to limited product availability in the region.

In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 855/ton in the last week as compared to previous week, a jump of 1.79 per cent.

In Japan, average prices climbed by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 845/ton in the last week, a growth of 3.68 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 65/ton and quoted at US$ 795/ton in the last week, an increment of 8.90 per cent compared to previous week.

In China, average prices enhanced by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 920/ton in the last week, registering a hike of 2.79 per cent from the previous week.
