Propylene prices inch higher in Asia last week

Propylene prices surged in Asia in the last week due to improved buying indications in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 55/ton to US$ 970/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 6.01 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices advanced by US$ 40/ton and quoted at US$ 940/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a hike of 4.44 per cent.
 
In SE Asia, average prices increased by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 970/ton in the last week, a rise of 2.11 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In China, average prices edged higher by US$ 40/ton to US$ 1000/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an improvement of 4.17 per cent.
