Unfavourable market conditions pull down Asian PX prices

Paraxylene prices moved down in Asia in the last week due to unfavourable market conditions in the region.

In FE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 840/ton in the last week, a fall of 0.59 per cent compared to previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices reduced by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 855/ton in the last week, showing a decrease of 1.16 per cent over previous week.

In Taiwan, average prices plunged by US$ 10/ton and assessed US$ 855/ton in the last week, a drop of 1.16 per cent over the previous week.
