Upstream energy values support Asian ethylene prices

Ethylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices increased by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 1105/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a hike of 0.91 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices stepped up by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 1100/ton in the last week, a jump of 0.92 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices edged higher by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1035/ton in the last week, an increment of 0.49 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1150/ton in the last week, registering a climb of 1.32 per cent from the previous week.
