US benzene prices decline due to mute buying

In US, average prices dropped by 5 cents/gallon and were quoted at 200 cents/gallon in the last week, a drop of 2.44 percent over the previous week.

Meanwhile, benzene prices went down in Europe in the last week due to poor downstream product demand in the region.

In Europe, average prices went down by US$ 5/ton and were quoted at US$ 680/ton in the last week, a decrease of 0.73 percent over the previous week.
