Benzene prices moved down in Asia in the last week due to weak product demand in the region.
In Korea, average prices plunged by US$ 40/ton and assessed at US$ 920/ton in the last week, a drop of 4.17 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Japan, average prices stepped down by US$ 40/ton to US$ 925/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a decrement of 4.15 per cent.
In India, average prices decreased by US$ 40/ton and quoted at US$ 930/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 4.12 per cent.
