Polyester cationic filament prices were stable in Shengze market in the just-concluded week. Trade volume declined slightly compared with the previous week, but prices changed little.
FDY filament products, FDY63D and 50D were quoted at 14,000 Yuan / ton and 15,200 Yuan / ton, respectively, unchanged from the previous week, 100D and 150D were offered at 13,700 Yuan / ton and 13,300 Yuan / ton.
FDY63D, 75D and 150D witnessed good demand. In addition, prices of some POY and DTY also did not change much. POY50D/48F, 75D/48F, 100D/36F maintained at 13,800 Yuan / ton, 13,500 Yuan / ton and 12,900 Yuan / ton, respectively.
According to analysts, CDP slice market is under adjustment, which provides some support to cationic filament market. Secondly, production of cationic filament products has gone down and so, now supply-demand is basically balanced.
This has to a certain extent, created some impact on the stability of cationic filament market. Therefore, cationic filament market is expected to mainly see consolidation next week.
