Sinopec Group recently announced its pre-offers of polyester chips and polyester staple fiber (PSF) under April contracts.
The price of semi-dull slices is 10,800 Yuan / ton, price of bright chips and industrial yarn grade chips is 10,800 Yuan / ton and that of dull slice are 11,600 Yuan / ton.
The price of PSF 1.4D semi-dull is 11,800 Yuan / ton and PSF 1.2D bright is 12,300 Yuan / ton (to be delivered).
At present, the price of 1.4D polyester staple fiber in mainstream domestic market is in the range of 11,100-11,200 Yuan / ton (cash or acceptance).
