Chinese polyester staple fibre (PSF) prices slipped down in line with weak feedstock trends in the Chinese market during this week.

Current prices of 1.5 Den PSF of Taiwanese origin were at US$ 1.20-1.24 per kg, while European origin PSF was at US$ 2.15-2.25 per kg and US origin at US$ 2.20-2.30 per kg.

While, prices of 1.5 Den PSF of Chinese origin for domestic and export market, were offered at US$ 1.21-1.24 per kg and US$ 1.02-1.06 per kg, respectively.

Mainstream offers for 1.4 Den PSF hovered around RMB 7,520 per ton in the Chinese domestic market.
