During the past week (1.14-20), conventional DTY varieties in Shengze and Jiaxing raw materials markets showed slight down trend. Current market central prices of 75D, 100D, 150D were 14,700 yuan, 13,700 yuan, and 13,000 yuan per ton, respectively, an average drop of 100 yuan from the previous week.
Market operators believe that key reasons for the fall of DTY filament price is that consumption of conventional DTY varieties has narrowed. However, firmer market trend is being supported by stronger demand for DTY75D/144F and some coarse filaments.
