The Anti-dumping Bureau under the Ministry of Commerce, delivered its final ruling on the anti-dumping probe conducted on imports of Fully Drawn or Fully Oriented Yarn / Spin Draw Yarn / Flat Yarn of Polyester (non-textured and non-POY).

These yarns which originate from China, Thailand and Vietnam have been imposed a minimum antidumping tax of 18.03 percent and a maximum of 48.32 percent.

In effect, this means an additional duty ranging from US $240 per ton to $547 per ton. The affected companies have the option to appeal to the Customs and Tax Revenue Appeal Court against this decision.
