In Paraxylene market, price increased with the support of firm upstream and was assessed around US $925/ton in the S E Asian markets.
PTA prices are still range bound in the Asian markets. In the N E Asian markets it was in the range of $845-850/ton while in the S E Asian markets price was around $840-845/ton.
In the Ethylene market, price increased initially, but by the end of the current week, price declined to $880-890/ton in the S E Asian market.
In the N W European market, price was around $1035/ton and in the US market it was around $740/ton.
MEG tested a low price, but still offers of MEG in the S E Asian markets were in the range of $720-725/ton.
