In response to a withdrawal request from complainants, the US Department of Commerce recently issued a notice, thereby cancelling the anti-dumping administrative review on polyester staple fiber businesses of five Chinese companies.

They are Cixi Sansheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., Cixi Waysun Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., Far Eastern Industries, Ltd., Far Eastern Polychem Industries, Nantong Luolai Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., and NanYang Textiles Co., Ltd.

The Department of Commerce launched anti-dumping investigation on imports of polyester staple fiber from China on July 3, 2006. Customs codes for the products involved were 55,032,000.65 and 55,032,000.45.

The department made the final ruling on the case on April 19, 2007 and also conducted a 3rd administrative review into the case on July 28, 2010.
