Bangladesh unrest hits south India's cotton yarn exports

The Mumbai market noted a slowdown in cotton yarn prices amid limited buying. The prices eased by &#****;*-* per kg across most counts and varieties. A trader from Mumbai told Fibre2Fashion, "Declining cotton prices and slow demand from the downstream industry forced sellers to reduce prices. Fabric prices are also facing sluggish demand from the garment industry.”
