Traders noted that cotton yarn demand was average, with buyers being cautious about new purchases due to slow movement in downstream industries. Nonetheless, there are expectations of increased buying when garment manufacturing activities pick up for the upcoming summer season. Trade sources mentioned that polyester-cotton yarn witnessed slightly better buying.
