  • Cotton yarn prices in southern India, including Mumbai and Tiruppur, have remained stable due to mills' reluctance to reduce prices and the offer of discounts for bulk orders.
  • However, demand is weak, with the weaving industry adopting a cautious approach.
  • In Gujarat, cotton prices fell due to bearish signals from ICE cotton and low demand.

However, they are not eager to reduce prices. They hope that the prices will remain stable or may even increase after some time. Therefore, they are offering discounts on bulk purchases."
