Cotton yarn prices stable as cold wave grips north India

Cotton yarn prices have remained steady since last week in the Ludhiana market. Demand was average because of a sluggish trend in the value chain. “Cotton yarn demand was not remarkable. Cloudy and cold weather did not allow buying to improve from the weaving industry. Ludhiana’s cotton yarn market noticed stability in prices,” a trader from Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion

In Ludhiana, ** count cotton combed yarn was sold at &#****;***-*** per kg (GST inclusive). ** and ** count combed yarn were traded at &#****;***-*** per kg and &#****;***-*** per kg respectively. Carded yarn of ** count was steady at &#****;***-*** per kg, according to Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro.
