Cotton yarn prices steady in north India; cotton prices down

Limited buying in Ludhiana caused cotton yarn prices to remain stable. “Cotton yarn demand did not improve in the beginning of this week. There was nothing remarkable happening in Ludhiana’s cotton yarn market,” a trader from the city told Fashion*Fashion. 

In Ludhiana, ** count cotton combed yarn was sold at &#****;***-*** per kg (GST inclusive); ** and ** count combed yarn were traded at &#****;***-*** per kg and &#****;***-*** per kg respectively; and carded yarn of ** count was steady at &#****;***-*** per kg, according to Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro.
