  • However, demand is expected to improve after Ramadan.
  • Tiruppur's market saw weaker demand, causing cotton yarn prices to ease, while in Gujarat, cotton prices rose as spinners aimed to build stock.

A Mumbai trader told Fibre2Fashion, “Buyers remained cautious amid uncertain business conditions, and better demand wasn&#**;t expected until after Ramadan.” The market anticipated increased weaving activities post-Ramadan, as many Muslim workers are involved in the weaving industry in Maharashtra and other states.
