A trader from Ludhiana told Fibre*Fashion, “PC yarn demand is expected to rise next week as summer garment production will begin in the coming weeks. Polyester yarn prices also rose as domestic producers hiked polyester fibre selling rates. The increase was driven by higher PTA prices.” PTA prices reportedly surged in the Chinese market, after which Indian producers followed suit.
