In the Ludhiana market, most counts and varieties of cotton yarn saw a decline of ****;*-* per kg. Stockists and traders are reducing their stock by lowering prices. However, mills have not reduced their product prices. A trader from the Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, "Cotton yarn prices have dropped as concerns about a slowdown in export demand following the new conflict between Iran and Israel persist. The continuous fall in ICE cotton prices is also a dampening factor for the cotton yarn market."
