Low demand brings cotton yarn prices down in north India

In Ludhiana, cotton yarn prices have further decreased by &#****;* per kg due to weak demand from buyers. “Buyers were absent from the market as the current fiscal is ending. The demand is likely to pick up next week. Buyers will plan for production in next fiscal,” a trader from Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion

The ** count cotton combed yarn was sold at &#****;***-*** per kg (GST inclusive); ** and ** count combed yarn were traded at &#****;***-*** per kg and &#****;***-*** per kg respectively; and carded yarn of ** count was noted at &#****;***-*** per kg in Ludhiana, according to Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro.
