  • India's MMF yarn market has declined sharply after the withdrawal of QCOs on polyester and viscose, pushing buyers into cautious, short-term purchasing.
  • Prices dropped across Ludhiana and Surat, with deep cuts in specialty polyester yarns and expectations of cheaper viscose fibre as imports increase.
  • Domestic producers are lowering rates to compete.

Buyers are cautious about fresh purchasing amid price uncertainty.”

In Ludhiana, ** count PC combed yarn (**/**) traded at &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg (GST inclusive); ** count PC carded yarn (**/**) at &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg (GST inclusive); ** recycled polyester yarn at &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg (GST extra); ** count virgin polyester spun at &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg (GST inclusive); recycled polyester fibre (PET bottle fibre) at &#****;**-** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg and virgin polyester fibre at &#****;**.** (~$*.**) per kg.
