North India cotton yarn prices up as ICE cotton gains, demand sluggish

The Delhi market noted an increase of up to &#****;* per kg in cotton yarn prices. However, demand from the fabric industry was not increasing. A trader from the Delhi market told Fibre2Fashion, "Mills have increased cotton yarn prices after the recent rise in ICE cotton. Although, demand from the fabric industry was weak. Export demand was also unsupportive of the cotton yarn price rise.”
