Cotton yarn prices increased by &#****;* per kg in Ludhiana market. Spinning mills have increased their selling price to pass on higher cost of production. A trader from Ludhiana market told Fibre*Fashion, “Spinning mills could manage to increase cotton yarn prices as they can get better price in export market after increase in ICE cotton price. Higher price of cotton yarn also increased mills’ production cost.”

In Ludhiana, ** count cotton combed yarn was sold at &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg (inclusive of GST); ** and ** count combed yarn were traded at &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg and &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg, respectively; and carded yarn of ** count was noted at &#****;***-*** (~$*.**-*.**) per kg today, according to trade sources.
