A trader from the Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, “If authorities continue to inspect imports of Chinese fabric, it will send a strong message against misdeclaration. Fabric imports may reduce to some extent, but they cannot be restricted completely. The cotton yarn market may receive indirect support as officials are primarily cracking down on synthetic fabric.”
