PC cotton yarn prices decline in Ludhiana, viscose vertex yarn eases

In the Ludhiana market, PC yarn experienced a bearish tone, with prices trading lower by &#****;*-* per kg. The sluggish demand from the weaving industry contributed to the price decline. However, polyester spun yarn prices remained steady. A trader from the Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, "The market observed poor demand for PC yarn, which led to a decline in prices. Although there was slightly better demand for polyester spun yarn, its prices did not find support." Traders did not see any impact on polyester spun yarn following the implementation of the QCO. 

In Ludhiana, the price of ** count PC combed yarn (**/**) eased to &#****;***-*** per kg (inclusive of GST); ** count PC carded yarn (**/**) remained stable at &#****;***-*** per kg; and ** count poly spun yarn traded steadily at &#****;***-*** per kg (inclusive of GST).
