However, in Surat, Gujarat, polyester-cotton yarn exhibited a positive tone as traders anticipated a revival in demand for the upcoming wedding season. Polyester spun yarn traded higher by &#****;*-* per kg in the market. Viscose yarn might also see an upward trend due to slow supply from foreign countries, although its prices remain steady for now.

The weaving industry is discouraged by higher prices and has already built sufficient stock for consumption. Buyers may return when they find prices at a more comfortable level.”
