Polyester, viscose yarn prices rise in India on festive demand hopes

The fabric industry is transitioning from summer to winter production planning. A trader from Ludhiana told Fibre2Fashion, “Demand for polyester garments typically rises post-summer, prompting manufacturing units to focus on polyester fabrics. The upcoming festive season is also encouraging demand. However, polyester-cotton yarn demand has shown no improvement.”
