Polyester yarn dips in India as imports to surge after QCO removal

Surat registered a fall of &#****;*–* per kg in speciality polyester yarn after the removal of the QCO. A trader from Surat told Fibre*Fashion, “Mostly speciality polyester yarn was booked for imports after the withdrawal of QCO on polyester yarn, fibre and its raw materials. The consignments will hit the market next month. Therefore, buyers preferred to stay aside as they expect further price fall.”
